Story,Idea-This is the story of the misuse of power with a creature who beleves he rules over all and that he is in power while everything else the good the bad the joyfull all think that they rule the wonderful world of Alegria(you have to see the show to truly understand the story)

music-more european classical to opera type music the first time cirque moved away from the new age music Alegria

costumes, makeup- more of a regal to middle aged rennisance makeup/costume idea in this show with very detailed and ornate costumes and makeup

QUIDAM

Story/Idea- This is a show about a young girl who is deeply angered because of the fact that there is nothing more to see in her world. But her wish is answered by some strange force and she is pulled to the world of Quidam where two unkown friends try to show her some of the frightinging strange and abnormal in the dark world of Quidam

music- almost rock and roll this music is almost directly taken from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Favorite song Incantation

costumes,makeup-Everything is symbolic dark and sad It looks like instead of being inside of a Cirque du Soleil Tent you are inside an Edgar Allen Poe Book

DRALION

Story/Idea- This is the story of a boy who fliops over a timer and the time that he setas ist he time that he leaves the real world and enters the world of Dralion

music-a chinese/japanise syle of music filled with emotions ranging from happy to sad and everywhere in between favorite song Stella Erans

costumes,makeup- the idea that I find is Cirque international. This show is filled with diffrent cultures ranging from Indian to African.

VAREKAI

Story/Idea- The boy Icarus falls from the sky and lands in a Gypsy camp filled with strange creatures unable to walk Icarus learns to find joy and happyness in VAREKAI.

Music-The music is very diverse in the way that it is made the languages include english,french, romanian and so much more. Favorite Song Vocea

Costumes/Makeup- Filled with diverse and bright colors this far surpasses almost any other makeup job done by anyone anywhere on a regular basis

Story/Idea- This is the story of a clown who has a dream of what he wants his funeral to be.

Music-This music far surpasses anything done by CIrque du Soleil before, filed with Operaic, Salsa and other types of music.

Costumes/Makeup- Very Diffrent colors ONe person is white one is black one is blue one is yellow, The only one I found with color on was the Clown.

MYSTERE

Where- TI Las Vegas

Story- The story of a litte person (earth) who confronts huge birds, snails, and even girrafs.

Story/Idea-The history of Theator (See http://www.cirquedusoleil.com for more information)This is Shown through stage that fills up to 20 ft and can change from 20ft to dry and everywhere in between

Music- Classical and light favorite song Jeux de O

Costumes/Makeup- Possibly the most challanging for the Cirque Crew, not only did they have to turn all of there exquisite costumes into swimsuits but make waterproof makeup that even after constent dips in the water would not run or wear off

Acts- Fire, Synchronized swimming, clowns, Russian Swing, Cadre, Barge, Aerial Hoops, Bateau, highdive, Contortion, Duo Trapese, Solo Trapese, Trapese Washington



LA NOUBA

Where- Walt Disney World Resort Orlando

Story/Theme- The idea of La Nouba is the story of Fairy Tales that Edgar Allen Poe wrote and Mother Goose directed. It is a clash of the colorful world of the cirque people and the monotonus world of the Urbains.

Music- Hip Hop is the theme of the show It turns out that the director of the show had a son and he wanted to prove to his son that he could create a hip hop Cirque du Soleil thus La Nouba

KA

Where- MGM Las Vegas

Story- 2 twin brothers are both fighting for the title of the rule of a kingdom by traveling on a stage that folds into a boad a battle field a beach and that even flys of the ground.

Music- Made is no specific language instead it is a madeup language that has been dubbed Cirqish by someone in the CIrque club

Costume/Makeup- very ornate and tribal makeup and costumes

Acts- not online yet

I just saw the new Cirque show Corteo while I was in Quebec City. It was possibly the best touring show by CIrque.
